Vanilla pod kit Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the guide shortlist
Vanilla in Bristol: 17 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good pod kit from a repack
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.29 per 10 ml.
We run vanilla the same way in Bristol: same pod kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a vanilla pod kit really costs in Bristol
A vanilla pod kit from the starter options in Bristol costs about £3.29 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested vanilla in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised £56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.29 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
