Apple in Bristol: 16 units tested over 7 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the apple habit
We run apple the same way in Bristol: same cartomizer, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Apple cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a apple cartomizer really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at apple in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested apple in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where apple goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.44 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Can I order Nicotine Salt online in Bristol?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 2–4 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.44 per 10 ml liquid plus £64 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
