What iced costs in Bristol
The honest read on iced: 19 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.07 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced 100 ml bottle really costs in Bristol
We run iced the same way in Bristol: same 100 ml bottle, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a 100 ml bottle
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where iced goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Bristol survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.07 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
How long does iced in a 100 ml bottle last?
In Bristol we measured 5 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
