Sweet in Bristol: 21 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sweet habit
The honest read on sweet: 21 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run sweet the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sweet box mod really costs in Bristol
A sweet box mod from the reviewed options in Bristol costs about £2.97 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sweet in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a sweet bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.97 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Packaging for sweet in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does sweet in a box mod last?
In Bristol we measured 2 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.97 per 10 ml liquid plus £31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
