Vanilla in Bristol: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Where buyers go wrong with vanilla in Bristol
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.52 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at vanilla in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a vanilla mesh tank really costs in Bristol
A vanilla mesh tank from the budget options in Bristol costs about £2.52 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested vanilla in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Packaging for vanilla in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
