Tropical refill pack Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the price shortlist — Bristolnicsalt
Tropical in Bristol: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Tropical is allowed to say
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.48 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy Nicotine Salt in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical refill pack really costs in Bristol
Tropical in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested tropical in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.48 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for tropical in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.

Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.48 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.48 per 10 ml liquid plus £62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
