Tropical RDA Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the online shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
There is no single best way to buy Nicotine Salt in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Tropical RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical RDA really costs in Bristol
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.96 per 10 ml.
How we tested tropical in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does tropical in a RDA last?
In Bristol we measured 2 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
Is tropical legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
