Tropical RDA Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 16 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Where buyers go wrong with tropical in Bristol
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.66 per 10 ml.
The honest read on tropical: 16 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical RDA really costs in Bristol
There is no single best way to buy Nicotine Salt in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested tropical in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Bristol survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Entry kit | £31 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | £2.66 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does tropical in a RDA last?
In Bristol we measured 7 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.66 per 10 ml liquid plus £31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
