Tropical box mod Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the online shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 14 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
A tropical box mod from the online options in Bristol costs about £2.22 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run tropical the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical box mod really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at tropical in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested tropical in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for tropical in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
