Tropical 30 ml shortfill Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the review shortlist — Bristolnicsalt
Tropical in Bristol: 10 units tested over 5 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run tropical the same way in Bristol: same 30 ml shortfill, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical 30 ml shortfill really costs in Bristol
Most people searching Nicotine Salt in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested tropical in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised £62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.13 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

| Entry kit | £62 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | £2.13 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does tropical in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Bristol we measured 5 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.13 per 10 ml liquid plus £62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
