Tropical in Bristol: 18 units tested over 2 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit
A tropical 100 ml bottle from the value options in Bristol costs about £2.44 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Tropical in Bristol reaches the shelf in 100 ml bottle formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical 100 ml bottle really costs in Bristol
The honest read on tropical: 18 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
