Sourcherry pod kit Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the price shortlist
Sourcherry in Bristol: 14 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How we tested Sourcherry pod kit here
We run sourcherry the same way in Bristol: same pod kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.49 per 10 ml.
The short version: sourcherry in Bristol works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry pod kit really costs in Bristol
We run sourcherry the same way in Bristol: same pod kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sourcherry in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sourcherry start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
Can I order Nicotine Salt online in Bristol?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 2–4 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
