Sour 30 ml shortfill Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the guide shortlist — Bristolnicsalt
Sour in Bristol: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good 30 ml shortfill from a repack
If you are looking at sour in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour 30 ml shortfill really costs in Bristol
We run sour the same way in Bristol: same 30 ml shortfill, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sour in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sour goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.25 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Bristol survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for sour in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is sour legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.25 per 10 ml liquid plus £51 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
