Ordering Nicotine Salt to Bristol: the practical version
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.72 per 10 ml.
Salted refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: salted in Bristol works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted refill pack really costs in Bristol
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.72 per 10 ml.
How we tested salted in a refill pack
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Packaging for salted in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
