Salted box mod Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Salted in Bristol: 23 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How we tested Salted box mod here
The honest read on salted: 23 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.42 per 10 ml.
The short version: salted in Bristol works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted box mod really costs in Bristol
Salted in Bristol reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested salted in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.42 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Bristol survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
