Coil life, liquid cost and the raspberry habit
If you are looking at raspberry in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Raspberry in Bristol reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long raspberry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a raspberry starter kit really costs in Bristol
Raspberry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.83 per 10 ml.
How we tested raspberry in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why raspberry tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing raspberry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for raspberry in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
