Raspberry pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long raspberry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a raspberry pen device really costs in Bristol
The honest read on raspberry: 24 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested raspberry in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where raspberry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised £39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.65 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why raspberry tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
How long does raspberry in a pen device last?
In Bristol we measured 4 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On raspberry the budget price and the premium price can sit within £1.65 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does raspberry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the raspberry blend itself harsh.
