Plum squonk mod Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the budget shortlist
Plum in Bristol: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a squonk mod for plum
A plum squonk mod from the budget options in Bristol costs about £2.36 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Plum in Bristol reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: plum in Bristol works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum squonk mod really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at plum in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plum in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Treating the advertised £34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.36 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
