Plum RDA Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the review shortlist
Plum in Bristol: 22 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a RDA for plum
If you are looking at plum in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Plum in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum RDA really costs in Bristol
A plum RDA from the reviewed options in Bristol costs about £1.71 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plum goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.71 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
