Plain prefilled pod Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the deals shortlist — Bristolnicsalt
Plain in Bristol: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plain habit
Plain in Bristol reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A plain prefilled pod from the discounted options in Bristol costs about £2.48 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain prefilled pod really costs in Bristol
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.48 per 10 ml.
How we tested plain in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where plain goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.48 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for plain in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Why does plain taste burnt?
