Plain prefilled pod Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the cheap shortlist — Bristolnicsalt
Plain in Bristol: 16 units tested over 3 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Plain is allowed to say
The honest read on plain: 16 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Plain prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain prefilled pod really costs in Bristol
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested plain in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plain goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.32 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Is plain legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
