Pear in Bristol: 8 units tested over 4 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
A pear vape pen from the flat-rate options in Bristol costs about £3.17 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Pear in Bristol reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: pear in Bristol works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear vape pen really costs in Bristol
Pear in Bristol reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested pear in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where pear goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within £3.17 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.17 per 10 ml liquid plus £37 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
