Pear RDA Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the budget shortlist
Pear in Bristol: 21 units tested over 3 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
We run pear the same way in Bristol: same RDA, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at pear in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: pear in Bristol works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear RDA really costs in Bristol
Pear RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested pear in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
