Pear box mod Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the wholesale shortlist
Pear in Bristol: 21 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the pear habit
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.37 per 10 ml.
The short version: pear in Bristol works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear box mod really costs in Bristol
We run pear the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested pear in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where pear goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.37 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for pear in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order Nicotine Salt online in Bristol?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 2–4 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
How long does pear in a box mod last?
In Bristol we measured 2 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
