Passionfruit in Bristol: 19 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run passionfruit the same way in Bristol: same pen device, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Passionfruit in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: passionfruit in Bristol works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a passionfruit pen device really costs in Bristol
Passionfruit in Bristol reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested passionfruit in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a passionfruit bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why passionfruit tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.88 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
