What the label on Mintice is allowed to say
We run mintice the same way in Bristol: same 100 ml bottle, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Mintice sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: mintice in Bristol works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mintice 100 ml bottle really costs in Bristol
Mintice sounds like one product. It is not: a 100 ml bottle running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested mintice in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mintice bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Mixing mintice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised £51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.4 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Frequently asked questions
Is mintice legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Why does mintice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the mintice blend itself harsh.
