Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit
A mint vape pen from the discounted options in Bristol costs about £1.75 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Mint vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mint vape pen really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at mint in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested mint in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Bristol.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where mint goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.75 per 10 ml.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
