Mint squonk mod Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the review shortlist
Mint in Bristol: 20 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Where buyers go wrong with mint in Bristol
Mint squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run mint the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: mint in Bristol works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint squonk mod really costs in Bristol
Mint in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested mint in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mint bottle shipped into Bristol.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where mint goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.28 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
