Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mint cartomizer really costs in Bristol
We run mint the same way in Bristol: same cartomizer, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mint in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where mint goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.15 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Bristol survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mint in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does mint in a cartomizer last?
In Bristol we measured 2 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.15 per 10 ml liquid plus £63 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
