Lime starter kit Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the online shortlist
Lime in Bristol: 15 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Lime in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Lime sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a lime starter kit really costs in Bristol
We run lime the same way in Bristol: same starter kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested lime in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lime bottle shipped into Bristol.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where lime goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long lime in Bristol survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is lime legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
How long does lime in a starter kit last?
In Bristol we measured 6 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should lime start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
