Iced pen device Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the compare shortlist
Iced in Bristol: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What iced costs in Bristol
Iced sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Iced pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: iced in Bristol works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced pen device really costs in Bristol
The honest read on iced: 20 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested iced in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where iced goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Bristol survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for iced in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £1.91 per 10 ml liquid plus £35 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
How long does iced in a pen device last?
In Bristol we measured 4 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
