Coil life, liquid cost and the honey habit
A honey e-liquid bundle from the compared options in Bristol costs about £3.01 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run honey the same way in Bristol: same e-liquid bundle, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: honey in Bristol works if the e-liquid bundle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a honey e-liquid bundle really costs in Bristol
The honest read on honey: 17 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested honey in a e-liquid bundle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the e-liquid bundle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the e-liquid bundle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a e-liquid bundle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for e-liquid bundle in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where honey goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a e-liquid bundle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised £33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.01 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should honey start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a e-liquid bundle.
How much does a e-liquid bundle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.01 per 10 ml liquid plus £33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does honey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the e-liquid bundle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the honey blend itself harsh.
