Honey in Bristol: 18 units tested over 5 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What honey costs in Bristol
Honey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.79 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Bristol usually means waiting 2–4 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: honey in Bristol works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a honey 100 ml bottle really costs in Bristol
Honey in Bristol reaches the shelf in 100 ml bottle formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested honey in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a honey bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where honey goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for honey in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
