Coffee pen device Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Coffee in Bristol: 15 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What coffee costs in Bristol
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.46 per 10 ml.
Coffee in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coffee pen device really costs in Bristol
Coffee sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested coffee in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coffee bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coffee in Bristol survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for coffee in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
