Caramel pen device Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Caramel in Bristol: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a pen device for caramel
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.41 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy Nicotine Salt in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel pen device really costs in Bristol
Caramel sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested caramel in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.41 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
