Coil life, liquid cost and the candy habit
Candy in Bristol reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you are looking at candy in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a candy prefilled pod really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at candy in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested candy in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where candy goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised £58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.99 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
