Apple cartomizer Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the guide shortlist
Apple in Bristol: 11 units tested over 4 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the apple habit
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.56 per 10 ml.
Apple in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: apple in Bristol works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple cartomizer really costs in Bristol
We run apple the same way in Bristol: same cartomizer, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested apple in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where apple goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long apple in Bristol survives.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order Nicotine Salt online in Bristol?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 2–4 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.56 per 10 ml liquid plus £61 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
